Right now, a young mother in our community is seeking a safe place to call home, along with the love and support of a family who cares. While her story is unique, the challenges she faces are all too common. In 2022, more than 3 million girls faced the struggles of teen pregnancy.

For many of these young mothers, the odds are stacked against them. Fifty percent of teen moms drop out of high school during pregnancy or shortly after giving birth. Two-thirds of mothers on welfare had their first child as a teenager, increasing the likelihood that their own children will face similar hardships, perpetuating the cycle of generational poverty.

For over 30 years, Compassion Ministries has witnessed firsthand the powerful transformation that occurs when young mothers are provided with a safe and nurturing environment. In our program, they learn life skills to live independently, heal from trauma, and make healthy choices for themselves and their children—often for the first time.

We need YOUR help to empower these young women to break free from the cycles that have held them back. With your support, we can provide them with the tools, community, and love they need to build brighter, more promising futures for themselves and their families. The Baby Ball is an elegant and purpose-driven evening dedicated to transforming lives and supporting young mothers in need. Hosted by Compassion Ministries, this annual event brings together a community of caring individuals for an exclusive night of celebration and giving back.The Baby Ball features a delightful cocktail hour, dinner, music, and dancing. Guests will enjoy engaging games, inspiring speeches, and the excitement of both silent and live auctions. Every element of the evening is designed to raise awareness and funds for the mission of providing safe housing and critical resources to young mothers, empowering them to break free from generational cycles and build brighter futures for themselves and their children.Attendees can expect a semi-formal atmosphere filled with warmth, hope, and a shared commitment to making a difference in the lives of others.
